四川省冶金地质勘查局605大队成立于1964年,原称冶金工业部西南地质勘查局605大队,主要从事矿产资源地质勘查、地球物理勘探、地球化学勘探、遥感地质调查、水工环地质勘察、岩土工程勘察及地质灾害的评估与治理。605大队具有合理的专业技术人员结构,员工总数的48%为具有本科以上学历的技术人员,高级职称技术人员52人,员工平均年龄39岁。新建的大队基地占地70000 m2。拥有先进的测试仪器和勘查装备,包括物探V8卫星同步多通道电磁数据采集系统、地下电磁波CT透射成像仪、物探多参数综合测井仪、高精度质子磁力仪、大功率高密度多通道电法仪、大尺度多道三维高精度数字地震仪、数字化多功能弹性波工程测试仪、地质雷达成像仪、智能化核热物探探测仪、微机多道能谱仪、便携式元素快速测试仪(野外用)、野外便携式地面遥感成像波谱仪、RTK网络化高精度差分GPS、ICP-MS质谱仪、X荧光分析仪、原子吸收分光光度计、海量多元数据处理及信息综合集成解析工作站和先进、适用的软件系统。大队拥有各类资产8000多万元。
