胜任力是绩优者具备的知识、技能、能力和特质等。通过分析导游人员的概念、工作特点以及职责和素质,结合胜任力模型,选定了导游人员的职业胜任力。并且依据选取的胜任力要素,进行《导游业务》课程改革。“胜任力”一词作为一个正式概念被提出来是1973年美国哈佛大学心理学教授麦克里兰在《测量胜任力而非智力》一文中,用以预测和绩效。此后,国内外许多学者对胜任力有了许多理论和实证的研究。“职业胜任力”是影响工作业绩的个人条件和行为特征,具体是指绩优者所具备的知识、技能、价值观、能力和特质。
Competency is the knowledge, skills, abilities and qualities that an overblown person has.
