Xing Jia community in Gujiao City, where there is a place called grass head village, 300 meters west of the mountain beam is still retained the grass Zhuang first battle site. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, it belongs to the six districts of Jiaocheng County, which is the border area of the eighth sub-district of the Jin-Sui Border Region and the traffic artery from the enemy-occupied territory to the base area. In 1940, when Kusakabe was occupied by the Japanese troops, they used the difficult terrain to gradually dig ditches, bunkers, buried mines and barriers on the hills near the village. As a base, they imposed inhuman “ Three Light Policy, ”“ Nibbling Policy, ”and“ Grating Comb Policy, ”so that people within a radius of a few dozen or so would not rest peacefully. Even two or three-year-old children were scared to cry when they heard that“ the Japanese were coming ” .
