社会转型时代需要怎样的文学,这是近年来大陆文学发展的热点话题。20世纪70年代台湾“乡土文学”的代表作《金水婶》和新世纪大陆“乡下人进城”叙事的代表作《瓦城上空的麦田》同是对社会转型的批判性书写,前者以传统批判现实主义的笔法,刻画人物形象和性格,以此传达对台湾现代化出路的思考;后者重“苦难”故事情节的营构,呈现以寓言象征色彩,表现着作家的愤激。两篇作品的差异是两岸社会转型期文学的整体性差异,这种差异值得我们深入反思。
