现代课程论认为,学科课程中的理论知识只有在与社会实践的结合中,才能得到巩固和强化。生物学科作为一门自然学科,更强调学生动手操作与学科理论课程相结合。在我国,1992年原国家教委颁布的<九年义务教育全日制小学、初级中学课程计划>(试行)中,也将“活动课程”纳入到课程体系中,并为活动课程正式安排了课时。1997年颁布的<全日制普通高级中学课程计划(试验)>,是新课程方案的核心。其中很重要一个特点就是构建了以学科课程为主、活动类课程为辅的课程结构,由单一的学科课程改为“学科加活动”的整体优化结构。
