建于深圳市的金城大厦由6座25层的塔楼组成,下面由两层裙房把六座塔楼连成一个整体,总高度80米,占地面积102×70米~2,建筑总面积共57000米~2。结构采用框架剪力墙体系,核心筒尺寸为12×12米~2。所在地的地质情况为:现地面下10~20米为第四纪复盖土层,其中包括人工填土、淤泥和可能产生流砂现象的砂土层以及冲积、坡积、残积亚粘土;稳定的地下水位在天然地面下2米处;复盖土层下为侏罗纪变质含砾石英砂岩或石英砂岩,但表面的强风化岩层厚达8~12米,岩层较为破碎。
