1988年我国广东试办非正式的国际足联女子足球锦标赛和1991年又成功举办首届世界杯以来,国际女子足球运动取得了飞速的发展。尽管女足格局尚未走出欧洲、北美、亚洲为龙头的三强鼎立格局,但国际女足的力量对比和打法风格已经发生了新的变化,世界杯比赛制度的确立及女足成为亚特兰大奥运会正式比赛项目促进了各国女足训练的正规划,随着女足商业化、职业化进程,女子足球的普及程度会有所加强,技战术水平将更加呈现出男性化特征。 十八世纪的女足发展史 据历史考证,女子踢足球的历史几乎同男子一样长,这从汉代出土的文物及中国古代足球游戏可以得到证明。也有资料记载,英格兰妇女参加类似的足球比赛在十六世纪已经开展,比赛时间也同现代足球相似。
