I. Preface In Europe and the United States, seminars on the application of geostatistics in deposit evaluation are held frequently; however, in Japan, the exchange of such research is not yet active. The application of geostatistics in the evaluation of deposits can provide an effective solution to the problem of mine management, such as the spacing of drilling holes in prospecting stages, the selection of drilling layout, the improvement of reserves calculation method in production stage, Control of ore grade. In this paper, taking the Kulu stratigraphic copper-zinc-zinc-iron ore deposit in the northern part of British Columbia of Canada (BC) as an example, the authors first introduced the method of geostatistics to confirm whether the borehole density meets the requirements of the reserves calculation in the final exploration stage. Get some results through. If this article can become the beginning of extensive research work in our country in the future, the author will feel very honored.
