乙二醇单丁醚是一种很好的溶剂,还可用作石油破乳剂和乳化燃料的乳化剂成分。1942年 Cretcher 等用氯乙醇处理正丁醇钠制得了收率为30%的乙二醇单丁醚。此后相继有人提出了不同的和改进的制备方法,较好的收率是80.5%。笔者以叔丁醇箝制反应温度并用作溶剂,用乙二醇、氢氧化钠和正丁基溴制得了收率为98.3%的乙二醇单丁醚。实验部分:向250mL 三口瓶中加22.3mL乙二醇(0.4mol),37.5mL 叔丁醇(0.4mol),10g 氢氧化钠(0.25mol),小心加热回流30min。然后加11mL 正丁基溴(0.1mol),回流反应2.5
Ethylene glycol monobutyl ether is a good solvent and is also used as an emulsifier component in petroleum demulsifiers and emulsion fuels. In 1942, Cretcher et al treated chloro-n-butanol with chloroethanol to yield ethylene glycol monobutyl ether in a yield of 30%. Since then different and improved preparation methods have been proposed, with a good yield of 80.5%. The author used tert-butanol to clamp down the reaction temperature and used as a solvent. The yield of ethylene glycol monobutyl ether was 98.3% with ethylene glycol, sodium hydroxide and n-butyl bromide.
