研究了一种新型的带状注速调管多间隙输出结构——准光输出腔。通过电场均匀性,双端口腔外Q值的计算以及参数敏感性几个方面的研究,分析了其设计和性能。结果表明,相对于传统的多间隙输出结构,准光输出腔电场均匀性更好、设计更为灵活,并且电性能对耦合孔尺寸的敏感性更低,这使得准光输出腔在面对工程中产生的误差时性能更为稳定。对具体设计的W波段五间隙准光输出腔,采用三维MAGIC模拟检验了其功率提取能力、效率以及带宽,结果显示:可以获得40kW的功率输出,相应于14%的互作用效率,3dB带宽达到150MHz。研究表明,准光输出腔非常适合作为带状注速调管(一种窄带高功率放大器)的输出电路。
A new type of multi-gap output structure of ribbon-type klystron is studied - quasi-optical output cavity. Through the electric field uniformity, double-port Q value calculation and parameter sensitivity of several aspects of research, analysis of its design and performance. The results show that, compared with the traditional multi-gap output structure, the quasi-optical output cavity has better electric field uniformity, more flexible design and lower sensitivity to the size of the coupling hole, which makes the quasi-optical output cavity face to engineering In the error generated when the performance is more stable. The power extraction capability, efficiency and bandwidth of W-band five-gap quasi-optical output cavity were tested using three-dimensional MAGIC simulation. The results show that the power output of 40kW can be obtained, corresponding to 14% interaction efficiency and 3dB bandwidth reaching 150MHz. Research shows that the quasi-optical output cavity is well suited as the output circuit for a ribbon-type klystron (a narrow band high-power amplifier).
