上海集装箱码头有限公司(简称SCT)是由上海港集装箱综合发展公司与香港和记黄埔上海港口投资有限公司共同投资组建的国内最大的集装箱码头。自1993年8月12日正式营运以来,迅速完成了平稳交接,生产、经营和管理已逐步走上正轨,取得了令人瞩目的成就。1994年集装箱吞吐量突破113万TEU,比1993年增长了25.5％,为上海的口岸外贸运输作出了重大贡献。
Shanghai Container Terminal Co., Ltd. (SCT) is the largest container terminal jointly established by Shanghai Port Container Development Corporation and Hutchison Whampoa Shanghai Port Investment Co., Ltd. Since its formal operation on August 12, 1993, the smooth handover, production, operation and management have been gradually completed and remarkable achievements have been made. In 1994, the container throughput exceeded 1.13 million TEU, an increase of 25.5% over 1993, making a significant contribution to Shanghai’s port foreign trade and transportation.
