The verb “occurs” is a commonly used term, and it is frequently used. It is often used as a predicate in the construction of sentences. Such as: “This incident took place in 1918.” “This happened in the winter of that year.” In the preceding sentence, “occurred” with a complement “in 1918” is a prepositional time phrase; in the latter sentence In the “occurrence” after the object with the “phenomenon” is a noun. In addition to the nouns, there are verbs (or verbal phrases) such as: “His understanding has indeed changed.” Such objects as verbs (or verbal phrases) have a prominent feature: It is often closely related to the subject, and verbs can sometimes be used as predicates of sentences, as the sentence above can also translate into: “His understanding does change.” So when they can be predicates or they must be predicates , The verb “takes place” is added to the front. The result is that (1) the language is virtually wordy; (2) the original predicate is replaced by “occurrence” by mistake, changing the original grammatical structure ; Or (3) to make the relationship between the relevant elements do not match, or make the sentence incomplete certain components. This is the mistake of “happening” excess abuse.
