课堂讨论是一种多项信息交流活动,是大学英语教学的一种有效方式。本文从英语学科特点出发,就大学英语课堂讨论的必要性、讨论的类型、讨论中出现的问题及对策和教师在讨论中的角色四个大问题进行探讨。课堂讨论在教学中有强化记忆、深化理解、启发思维等作用,学生通过积极参与课堂讨论活动可以真正成为课堂学习的主体,使得学习潜能得以发掘,快速提高语言交际能力。
Classroom discussion is a variety of information exchange activities and is an effective way for college English teaching. Based on the characteristics of English disciplines, this paper discusses the four major issues of the necessity of college English class discussion, the type of discussion, the problems and countermeasures in discussion, and the role of teachers in the discussion. Classroom discussions have the function of strengthening memory, deepening understanding, and inspiring thinking in teaching. Students actively participate in classroom discussion activities and can become the main body of classroom learning, enabling the learning potential to be explored and the ability to communicate quickly improved.
