August 7, Boeing developed the X-48C demonstrator at the Edwards Air Force Base completed its first flight. At 7:56, the X-48C validator took off remotely under ground crew and slowly climbed to a height of 1,676 meters, successfully completing the 9-minute flight test. The first flight marks a crucial phase in the launch of the BWA layout research project sponsored by NASA. As a pioneer of green aviation technology, the X-48C Verifier is mainly used to evaluate the low speed stability and maneuverability of this revolutionary concept and explore a feasible way for the design and development of a new generation of subsonic transport platforms in the future.
