实验工作要加强现在我国的教育工作已经开始走上了正轨,学校里和社会上的学习风气很浓。但是,实验工作还没有很好开展起来。许多中学生没有做过实验,不少大学生也没有受到必要的实验训练,这说明人们对实验工作的认识不足。早在前清时期,受张之洞“中学为主,西学为用”的影响,有些小学除自然外,也开始学习生物、化学和物理,并且有了演示实验。1907年,我在天津民立第二小学高小二年级上化学课时,化学老师每堂课都作演示实验。从玻璃仪器的安装到氢气、二氧化硫、氨、氯气、硫酸等的制备,一年内作了三、四十个化学物质的制备,性能和应用的演示实验。在
