The authors studied the spontaneous delayed recovery of myocardial perfusion and contractile function after 5 weeks of acute anterior wall myocardial infarction, especially after the subacute phase. Subjects and Methods 71 patients with uncomplicated male myocardial infarction (MI). Inclusion criteria: (1) Q-wave front wall MI occurred for the first time. (2) sinus rhythm. (3) no rest angina.
