为了中埃两国文化的交流,埃及开罗大学费克里教授于1956年春间到北京大学来讲学.离京以前,他曾将讲稿的英文原稿交给我看过,希望我替他校阅这些讲稿的中译本.关于“埃及古代史”一书的全稿,校改后已交给科学出版社出版了.关于“埃及六千年史简述”的节译稿,我也曾作过一番校对。因为他不预备发表,所以我的校正本也便放在抽屉里。现在看到“历史教学”1956年12期中,已将这节译本加以发表。这虽比北京大学的铅印本有些修改,但仍保留一些错误。深恐以误传误,所以现交这些应改正处,列举于下:——(1)28页左栏,正文23行,“画家的技术”, For the exchange of culture between China and Egypt, Feigelli, a professor at Cairo University in Egypt, came to Peking University in the spring of 1956.
