提出并展示了一种集成于一根光纤中的1×2光纤耦合器。通过在单芯光纤和双芯光纤焊点处进行熔融拉锥的方法,实现了这种新颖的耦合技术。采用光束传输法,计算仿真了其功率耦合与传输过程。对于双芯光纤分布不对称以及双芯光纤芯子折射率具有轻微差异的情况,给出了分析与讨论。
A 1 × 2 fiber coupler that is integrated into one fiber is presented and demonstrated. This novel coupling technique is achieved by means of a fused taper at the single-core fiber and dual-core fiber solder joints. Using the beam transmission method, the simulation of the power coupling and transmission process. The analysis and discussion are given for the asymmetry of the distribution of the two-core fiber and the slight difference of the refractive index of the two-core fiber.
