  Maybe there is a very important person in everyone’s heart. I do have such a person in my heart, too. Miss Wang was my English teacher in No. 2 Middle School. She was only twenty—six years old. But she gave me too much in many ways.
  I had never passed any English test before I met her. I nearly lost confidence in English. I felt so disappointed. But one day, she came into our classroom with a big smile. After class, she touched my head and said,“Don’t give up. I believe you!”
  And from then on, I tried all my best to learn English, and she even taught me English from the very beginning, word for word. Step by step, I could read the words and the sentences in my textbook. Guess how happy I was!
  Sometimes I still failed the exams. I wanted to give it up with sadness, but she stood by my side and encouraged me,“Don’t give up. I believe you!” Then tears were full of my eyes.
  One day, I finally got good marks in the exam, even higher than my desk mate’s, who was one of the top students in my class. Miss Wang appeared beside me and said to me happily, “You are the best. I believe you!” I was so happy that tears were full of my eyes again.
  Now, I think she is not only my teacher, but also my friend and elder sister. I am very thankful to her.
  So this is my unforgettable teacher. I hope she will have a happy and healthy life all the time.

  开学第二周,我们要开新的模块《My New Teachers》,为了引出话题,我提前给学生留了书面表达的任务,要求学生描写一下自己难忘的教师。大部分学生都写的是自己的班主任,而且描写比较空泛,词汇比较贫乏,偶尔有些同学使用了模块一的词汇,这就很不错了。当我批阅到丁世君同学的作文时,不觉眼前一亮:对于一个高一的学生而言,能洋洋洒洒地写上近300字的短文,这是很了不起的;他的作文中并没有太多复杂的词汇和语法,但是整个故事的描写生动曲折,让一位关心学生成长,鼓励学生内心的教师Miss Wang的形象跃然纸上,这对我今后的教育教学也很有启发作用;最后,丁世君同学采纳了总分总的写作形式,首尾呼应,故事完整。这是一篇优秀的日常习作。
