Objective: To study the effects of different concentrations of propofol on the ApEn and correlation dimension (D2) of the parietal lobe, frontal area, occipital region and hypothalamic ventrolateral medulla (VPM) in rats. Methods: 48 The male SD rats were randomly divided into 4 groups (n = 12), and the epidural and deep electrodes were implanted in the left and right parietal, frontal, occipital and hypothalamus VPM respectively, and the spontaneous EEG was monitored continuously. The basal EEG After continuous intravenous infusion of 10g / L propofol, followed by 400,500,600,700,800,900μg / (kg · min), continuous infusion of each concentration for 10min, take the last 2min EEG for post-analysis, calculate the concentration of different propofol Brain area of ApEn and D2. Embedded electrodes for EEG monitoring before 1wk, were measured to make the rat disappearance of right reflex and clamp tail reflex disappeared propofol concentration. Results: With the increase of propofol concentration, about ApEn and D2 in the apical, frontal, occipital and thalamus gradually decreased, all of them disappeared at 500 ~ 600μg / (kg · min), and disappeared at 800 ~ 900μg / (kg · min) Tail reflex disappeared, resulting in more than the different anesthetic effects of propofol concentrations corresponding brain regions ApEn and D2 were lower than the awake state. Conclusion: Propofol can Reduce dependence parietal, frontal, occipital region and the complexity of the thalamus VPM activities, ApEn and D2 are sensitive nonlinear EEG parameters associated with the different anesthetic effects.
