在全国科学技术奖励大会以后不久,林业部于一九八二年十二月八日至十四日在重庆市召开了全国林业科技成果评奖授奖大会,也是全国林业系统开创林业科技工作新局面的动员大会。林业部董智勇副部长主持会议,杨钟部长在会上对林业科技工作开创新局面作了重要讲话。会议期间,代表们认真学习了赵总理在五届人大五次会议上的报告和在全国科学技术奖励大会上的重要讲话。代表们对全国林业系统一九八○、一九八一年度申报的从几百个科技成果中初选的七十七项优秀成果进行认真审议,最后评选出六十八项获奖优秀
