All of Golding’s works are full of meaning, especially the novel “Lord of the Flies”, which integrates classical literature, mythology, Christian culture and symbolism, and is an example of many of his works. In the whole novel, there is a more sublimated philosophical content, which has not been concerned by literary critics, that is, Golding’s dualism. Based on this, I will give a detailed account of Golding’s dualism and the relationship and transformation of original sin and sin as explained by Golding in Lord of the Flies from six aspects, in order to restore the author’s most realistic intention of writing from the writing technique of Lord of the Flies.
