文章给出了基于分形维进行分割的编码算法及相应的解码重构过程描述。分形编码是从全局出发,考虑到图象中一些相距甚远的区域之间,或区域与整体之间可能存在相当大的相关性这一特点而提出了利用分形及分形维的方法,试图寻找快速的编码,解码及平滑处理。该方法通过存储图象的生成元获得了显著压缩图象存储量的效果。
