“咬牙挺住!”澳洲人李·史密斯在密林小道撵上我时,对我大声吼叫道。“坚持住,哥们——还剩20公里了!”从背在肩上的水瓶管嘴猛喝几口水后,我再次上路,试图再次“发动”我那疲惫不堪的双腿。说得温和点,这是另类的度假——据组织者说,类似活动在新西兰为开天辟地第一同——登山旅行,在考验体力与毅力的同时,欣赏美最并体验探险。在总共6天时间里,由向导引略,大家一起徒步跑完新西兰南岛160多公里的小径,晚上则留宿酒店,行李由专门的货车运送,它行驶的路程要远得多。我们每天雷打不动(除非脚上肿起水泡)跑24公里至35公里,迂回穿行在彼得·杰克逊《指环王》中所展示的那壮美无比、依然保持完好的“中土世界”中。我们7位身强力壮者组成的小组,由各个年龄段与各个国籍的人士组成。其中有:三十多岁、喜欢逗趣的澳洲人李·史密斯;在南岛出生及长大的52岁养蜂人史蒂
“Keep your teeth tight!” Australian Lee Smith shouted at me as I climbed the jungle trail. “Hold on, buddy - 20km left!” After a few sips of water from the bottle-cap on my shoulder, I was on the road again trying to “start” my exhausted legs. To put it mildly, it’s a different kind of vacation - organizers say similar activities are the first in the country to have been done in tandem - climbing the mountains and testing the strength and perseverance while admiring the beauty and expeditions. During a total of 6 days, guided by the guide, we walked over 160 kilometers of trails on the South Island of New Zealand on foot and at night stayed at the hotel. The luggage was transported by a special truck which took a much farther journey. We run 24 to 35 kilometers a day (unless the swollen blisters on our feet) and weave through the magnificent “Middle Earth” that Peter Jackson ’s Lord of the Rings shows. Our group of 7 able-bodied people consists of people of all ages and nationalities. Among them are: 30-year-old Australian Lee Smith who likes to have fun; Steven, a 52-year-old beekeeper who was born and raised in the South Island
