据日本钢铁联盟新炼钢技术研究会报导,21世纪初,一种新型炼钢炉——多种能量混合型熔炼炉(Multi Energy Combined Furn-ace)将问世。如附图所示,该炉的基本型式为直流电弧熔炼炉方式,采用直流电弧加热与非电能加热相组合的多种能量加热方式和排气二次燃烧、炉料高温预热(500~850℃)、炉壁非水冷等节能技术,以及深熔池底吹搅拌、喷粉造渣、电磁泵无渣出钢等先进的冶金工艺。同时在传感器、机械手等的有效应用,实现炉子的智能化、自动化操作方面也有重大突破。
