After the outbreak of the Pacific War, China and Britain, the United States and other countries became wartime allies and jointly fought against Japan. In the wartime cultural aid to China conducted by Britain, the United States and other countries, Dr. Needham, a well-known British biochemist and science and technology historian, paid the most attention to the “Sino-British Science Cooperation Pavilion” chaired by Chongqing. Needham and the Sino-British Museum of Science and Technology under his leadership became one of the major bridges in the Sino-British scientific and technological circle in wartime during the three years in Chongqing. At the time, China was isolated from the rest of the world and the Chinese scientific community understood the world. Scholars in the world know China's main window.
