As the saying goes: “Facts speak louder than words.” This fact is an example. An argumentative, accurate, typical, and novel case of argumentation is not only plausible, but also adds persuasiveness and appeal. However, when students write argumentative articles, if the field of vision is narrow and ideas are obstructed, the selection of examples will often fall into the routine and lack of freshness, which will weaken the persuasiveness of the article. So, where does the fresh material come from? This article focuses on this issue. In fresh cases, the first refers to examples that are lively and moving and have strong flavors of the times; the second is to examples that ordinary people do not know well. There are four main channels for obtaining these new cases.
