老年人口的增加，老年医学发展受到广泛关注，老年医学本科教学日益重要，老年医学教材编写面临许多挑战。老年医学涉及的知识面广，强调重点内容进行编写。老年疾病章节要在现有内科和其它学科基础上，选其精华进行编写。现行的老年医学教材有待于精简，期望通过《老年医学》的本科教学，使学员学会处理老年疾病思维方式。作为老年病科医生首先要有坚实内科学知识，才能当好老年病科医生。我国《老年医学》本科教育教师水平有待提高。老年医学授课内容上，要以老年人常见病多发病为主。“,”With the increase of aging population,the development of geriatrics receives extensive concerning, undergraduate teaching of geriatrics is becoming more and more important ,and the textbooks of geriatrics is facing many chal enges. Knowledge of geriatrics covers a wide range of content,and it emphasis on writing of key contents. Chapters and sections of geriatrics are based on the existing internal medicine and other disciplines, and choose the essence from them. The existing textbooks of geriatrics need to be streamlined, and students learn to deal with the ways of thinking on management of diseases in the elderly by undergraduate teaching of geriatrics. Doctors in geriatrics should have solid knowledge of internal medicine and can become a good doctor in geriatrics. Undergraduate education teachers in our country need to improve level .Teaching contents of geriatrics are based mainly on common disease in elderly.
