我们曾报道过棉属种自交和种间杂交授粉后两天的胚珠离体培养及幼苗培育的研究(《棉花》1980,5:1—3),阐述了培养的方法、过程与结果,但未谈及胚胎发育的情况。从本文开始将介绍授粉后离体培养的胚珠胚胎发育的情况。从胚胎发育观察的结果表明,授粉后胚珠离体培养的技术,可将品种自交的及种间杂交的尚处于合子—受精卵或发育最早期的原胚培养为成熟的胚,进而萌发及培育为植株。这是采用一般的幼胚离体培养技术不能达到的。这一技术为更好地克服棉属种间杂交不亲和性或将某些野生棉的有益性状转育至栽培棉提供了有效的方法。本文主要报道陆地棉自交授粉后两天,胚珠离体培养下胚胎发育的研究结果。

This article mainly reports on the results of embryo development of ovules in vitro cultured two days after self-pollination of Upland cotton.
