不久前,有媒体称“教育部要求高校开设中国语文课,北大、清华、北京航空航天大学、南开大学等多家高校已相继把语文课列为各专业必修必选课”。尽管教育部有关部门负责人澄清:因高校课程设置问题涉及高校办学自主权范畴,教育部并未对高校大学语文课程开设做硬性规定,该课程如何设置由学校自行决定。但是,该报道还是成了导火索,把多年来关于大学语文课是否“必修”之争再次推向高潮。
Not long ago, some media said that “the Ministry of Education requires Chinese universities to offer Chinese courses. Peking University, Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nankai University and other colleges and universities have successively classified Chinese lessons as compulsory courses for all majors.” Although the heads of relevant departments of the Ministry of Education clarified that because the issue of setting up a college curriculum involves the scope of autonomy in running a university, the Ministry of Education has not made any mandatory regulations on the opening of Chinese courses at colleges and universities. The setting of this course is up to the discretion of the schools. However, the report has become a trigger to once again culminating in the debate over whether or not college Chinese classes must be compulsory over the years.
