从近代史的角度来看,澳大利亚与中国有着某些相似的经历。世界大国的殖民、侵略和内部社会的自我封闭排外都曾经造成了这两个国家与世界文明“脱钩”的现象。今天,又同是解放思想。打开国门的策略使得这两个国家欣欣向荣,走向了世界。英语,作为外国语教学(TESOL——teach English to thespeakers of other languages)在大洋彼岸的澳大利亚,其教学模式已日趋完善。其中,有些做法是我们国内目前正大力倡导的,我们应该认真研究、学习、借鉴,使我国的外语教学迅速跨入世界先进行列。 From a modern history point of view, Australia and China have some similar experiences. The colonization and aggression of the world powers and the self-enclosed exclusion of internal society have all resulted in the “decoupling” of these two countries from the world civilization. Today, the same is emancipating the mind. The strategy of opening the door to these two countries thrives and goes global. English, Teaching as a Foreign Language (TESOL - teach English to the Speakers of other languages) The teaching model in Australia across the ocean has matured. Among them, some of the approaches are currently being vigorously advocated in our country. We should seriously study, learn from, and draw lessons from our efforts to bring our foreign language teaching into the world’s advanced ranks.
