Living on the Tibetan Plateau is a small animal that resembles a mouse but does not have a tail. They are numerous, busy every day, and even winter will not stop. They are endemic to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau - plateau pika. Plateau pika is petite and sturdy, full-furry, with a pair of round ears that occasionally emerge from the mouth of a small head and observe you curiously, very, very, very. However, they have long been a highly misunderstood species that has long been classified as the culprit in the degradation of pasturelands in the plateau where people once sought to expel them.
