“人有多重智力”人们可以轻易地测出高度,但智力却没有这样简单。这主要是因为人们具有多重智力,而不是简单的一种智力。总的来讲,我已区分了七种形式的智力。在现代社会得到高度评价的两种智力是语言和逻辑数理(Logical-mathematic)能力。当人们认为某人聪明时,往往是指这两种能力。因为个体有了语言和逻辑数理能力,就能在那些所谓测量智力的测验上获得好分数。但是,另外的五种智力,每一种都是同等重要的:空间关系理解能力,音乐能力,躯体运动感觉能力(bodily-kinesthetic)和两种个性方面的能力——人际交往能力(inter- “People Have Multiple Intelligences” People can easily measure their height, but intelligence is not as simple. This is mainly because people have multiple intelligences, not just a simple intelligence. In general, I have distinguished seven forms of intelligence. Two kinds of intelligence, highly regarded in modern society, are logical and mathematic abilities. When people think someone smart, they often refer to both abilities. Because individuals have both linguistic and mathematical logic, they can score well on those so-called quizzes that measure intelligence. However, each of the other five types of intelligence is equally important: spatial relationship understanding, musical ability, bodily-kinesthetic, and two personality-inter-
