This article summarizes the experimental work of introducing sulfur atoms into the molecules of the polyene oxide foamer when flotation porphyry copper deposit. The results show that the introduction of sulfur atoms in the blowing agent can increase the copper and molybdenum recovery. Hydrophile-lipophile balance (HLB) as well as the interaction between collectors, foaming agents and minerals all play an important role in the recovery rate.
