一位车间主任一年有三百天顶班劳动。有的领导表扬道:这位同志不脱离体力劳动,始终保持着工人的本色,是一位优秀的车间主任。但是,有的领导认为:他也许可以被评为劳动模范,但周时应该撤销他车间主任的职务。因为车间主任的职责不同于工人的职责,他应该带领工人前进,而不应代替工人劳动。这两种截然不同的认识,反映了两种不同的使用干部的价值观念。
A workshop director will work three hundred days a year. Some leaders praised the comrade: This comrade does not deviate from physical labor and always maintains the true nature of the workers. He is an excellent workshop director. However, some leaders believe that he may be rated as a model worker, but he should cancel the position of his workshop director on weekdays. Because the responsibilities of the workshop director are different from those of the workers, he should lead the workers forward instead of replacing the workers’ labor. These two very different perceptions reflect two different values of using cadres.
