本文着眼于多语系统的复杂性,从浑沌学视角来阐述多语系统的构成及其复杂表现。多语系统由焦点系统、内在及外围系统构成,其复杂性体现在系统的开放性、非线性、对初值的敏感性。从复杂的多语系统视角来看二语习得,就要对二语习得的概念进行重新定义,区分第二语言和之后习得的其他语言,每一种新语言的习得,都会跟一语、二语发生不同的关系,并作用于整个多语系统。以此视角审视语言使用可以发现,多语者的语码选择是多语系统内部的竞争机制和外部的动因相互作用的结果。
This paper focuses on the complexity of multilingual systems and expounds the composition and complexity of multilingual systems from the perspective of chaos theory. The multilingual system consists of the focal system, the intrinsic system and the peripheral system. Its complexity is reflected in its openness, nonlinearity and sensitivity to initial values. Second language acquisition from the perspective of a complex multilingual system requires the redefinition of the concept of second language acquisition to distinguish between the second language and other languages acquired thereafter. Acquisition of each new language A language, a different relationship between the second language, and the role of the entire multilingual system. Using this perspective to examine language usage, we can find that the multilingual code choice is the result of the interaction between the internal competition mechanism and the external motivation in a multilingual system.
