The overall characteristics of A class (Alfa Class, someone translated as alpha level, Department of translation, should be called A. NATO to 26 Latin letters for the former Soviet submarine rating, and Alfa for the letter A Morse code name, the same below) attacks Nuclear submarines are the most streamlined submarines designed by Soviet designers. The salient feature of hull appearance is the small number of free-flowing holes. This means that the Class A submarines are much quieter than the November Class and Class V attack submarines. Another notable feature of the A-Class appearance is that the podium of this nuclear submarine has a trapezoidal shape with a rounded top surface and smooth sides to the hull, with no steps being formed on the light shell of the deck. When the boat is in a watery condition, the hull above the waterline is very short. Its water surface displacement of about 2800 tons, about 3680 tons of underwater displacement, is the Soviet Red Navy’s smallest attack submarine.
