初中英语教学作为一项主体能动性突出、多种学习手段综合程度高的教学活动,需要教师特别注重与运用教学过程的适应性原则,根据教学对象的个体差异,科学地、综合地运用多种教学方法、教学手段来进行教学。初中英语教学的一个显著特点是学习主体的学习能力较弱,学习的自觉性需不断培养。初中英语教师实施教学活动的目标与方法必须充分适应这一特点,并努力在教学的全过程及所有环节中解决学习主体喜欢学、善于学、学得好的主要矛盾。
