本文通过分析2006年大学英语四、六级考试改革后增加的汉译英题型,探讨了汉译英题型考查的知识技能,以及对大学英语教学提出的新要求。研究结果显示,汉译英题型对考生词汇、语块、语法方面的产出性知识提出了较高的要求,但对考生翻译技巧的考查尚显不足。大学英语教师应该调整教学内容和方式,加强翻译教学,最大程度地发挥新题型的积极作用。
This paper analyzes the Chinese-English translation and English-analytical questions that were added after the reforms of College English Test Band 4 and 6 in 2006. It discusses the knowledge and skills of Chinese-English translation and English-based question examination and the new requirements for college English teaching. The results of the research show that the Chinese-English translation questions put forward high requirements on candidates’ vocabulary, chunks, and grammatical productive knowledge, but the examination of candidates’ translation skills is still insufficient. College English teachers should adjust the teaching content and methods, strengthen translation teaching, and maximize the active role of new questions.
