日本茶园主要分布在南半部,平均气温高于13℃,年降水量超过1,500毫米。品种主要是薮北种,约占无性系面积的85%,其次是丰绿和金谷绿品种。 1990年产绿茶89,900吨,平均单产1,725公斤/公顷,而红茶仅3吨。日本绿茶可分为:玉露茶、遮荫茶、碾茶、煎茶、玉绿茶和番茶。1970—1990年产量见表1。1989年绿毛茶的产值154,268百万日元,占农业产值的1.4%,精制茶零售额达到400,000百万日元。
Japanese tea plantations are mainly distributed in the southern half, the average temperature is above 13 ℃, the annual precipitation over 1,500 mm. The species is mainly 薮 North species, accounting for about 85% of clonal area, followed by Feng Green and Jingu green varieties. In 1990, 89,900 tons of green tea were produced, with an average yield of 1,725 kilograms / hectare, while that of black tea was only 3 tons. Japanese green tea can be divided into: Yulu tea, shade tea, grind tea, Jiancha, jade green tea and tea. The production in 1970-1990 is shown in Table 1. In 1989, the output value of green tea was 154,268 million yen, accounting for 1.4% of the agricultural output value, and the retail sales of refined tea reached 400,000 million yen.
