This “spring troubles” is a “dilemma” that teachers often encounter. How should we cultivate young children’s positive emotions towards nature? Should we encourage young children to have “zero distance” contact with nature or should young children hold the attitude of “looking away from being near to play?” Here, two different Conflicts in educational values happen, like “fish” and “bear paws.” We need what we need to be close to nature, and the love we have for nature is what we need. It is certainly the ideal outcome to combine the two, but often we have to face conflicts and choices in specific educational situations.
