实验平台在互联网技术的发展进程中具有举足轻重的作用,不仅互联网自身起源于实验平台,下一代互联网研究也起始于实验平台建设.互联网实验平台大体可分为2类:实验网络,如CNGI-CERNET2,Internet2,Geant等;实验系统,如PlanetLab,NS2等.DRAGON-Lab具有实验网络和实验系统双重特征.首先,DRAGON-Lab是互联网上独立的AS(autonomous system),紧密依托多个生产网络,具有鲜明的实验网络特点.其次,DRAGON-Lab整合了大量实验资源,包括自有资源、伙伴资源和互联网上的开放资源,能够提供开放的定制实验服务.DRAGON-Lab的主要技术特点是规模大、开放性强、支持远程可视化实验和可编程实验.文中介绍了DRAGONLab的体系结构设计和关键实验技术.
