在现代社会中,关于软件的重要性不容置疑。可以这样说,软件产业的竞争力直接影响到一个国家的国力。为了高效率地生产出高质量的软件,大家正在尝试着各种解决途径和手段。其中,一个最为有力的方法就是:将质量管理的概念、方法和技巧应用于软件的策划、研制、使用和维护中。在日本,有关将TQM(全面质量管理)应用于软件开发领域的“产学联合”的实践性研究是从1980年开始的,由日本科学技术联盟(JUSE)的软件质量研究会(SQIP)进行着专门研究,并已证实了它的实用性。该研究会通过长期的探讨,开发出了软件质量知识体系(SQuBOK),并已于2007年11月正式发表。本连载的中心议题是:对于通过高度的智慧型业务过程所形成的软件来说,为提高产品质量和生产效率,质量管理手段在何种意义(程度)上有效?怎样做才能给软件工程学带来新的气息?对此,本刊将刊出一组该研究会的研究文章。
In modern society, the importance of software is beyond doubt. It can be said that the competitiveness of the software industry directly affects the national strength of a country. In order to efficiently produce high-quality software, we are trying various solutions and means. One of the most powerful methods is to apply the concepts, methods and techniques of quality management to the planning, development, use and maintenance of software. In Japan, a practical study on “TICM” applied to the field of software development started in 1980 and was conducted by the Japan Institute of Science and Technology (JUSE) Software Quality Research Institute (SQIP ) Conducted a special study, and has confirmed its practicality. The research, through long-term discussions, developed the software quality knowledge system (SQuBOK) and was officially released in November 2007.
