中国地理学会编辑出版工作委员会第三次工作会议于1993年4月8-12日在福州召开。国家新闻出版署、中国地理学会的领导,本工作委员会委员,有关出版社的代表以及福建省一些有关地理单位的来宾近40人出席了会议。 会议的主要内容有:（1）1991-1993年委员会工作小结;（2）讨论全国首届优秀地理图书评选条件和评选办法;（3）讨论1993-1994年委员会工作计划。会议由委员会副主任胡晓谦主持,中国地理学会理事
The Third Working Meeting of the Editorial Committee of Chinese Geography Society was held in Fuzhou on April 8-12, 1993. Nearly 40 people from the State Press and Publication Administration, the leaders of the Geographical Society of China, members of the working committee, representatives of publishing houses and some geographically related units in Fujian Province attended the meeting. The main contents of the conference are as follows: (1) Brief summary of the committee work in 1991-1993; (2) Discussion on the selection criteria and selection method of the first excellent geographical book in the country; (3) Discussion of the work plan of the committee in 1993-1994.
