推断题是对元素及其化合物知识的概括和总结,它将元素化合物的知识和基本概念、基本理论融于一体,具有知识含量高、考查知识面广、思维能力强、综合性和灵活性兼备等特点。物质推断题是中考的难点,也是中考的传统保留试题,考试题型主要是选择题和填空题,所占分值平均约为试卷总分的10%左右(其中四川眉山12%;辽宁7%;江西7%;南通6%;湖北10%;重庆12%;盐城10%)。仔细分析近几年部分地区的中考化学试卷,不难发现推断题在题目的构思、内容和思维方法等方面都发生了新的变化,现结合2006年部分地区的中考化学试卷中的典型题目,分析不同类型推断命题的新发展,探讨题目的命题意图和解题思路,供同学们参考。
