This paper introduces the basic principle of 32-bit microprocessor-controlled stepping speed regulation for diesel locomotive diesel engine, and studies the control problems encountered by stepping speed regulation and puts forward the solutions. After the field test, it proves the feasibility and practicability of the scheme.
