The German Leipzig Book Fair originated in the early 19th century. Since 1963, the selection of the “Most Beautiful Book in the World” has become its most important part and represents the understanding and pursuit of book design in today’s world. In 2016, I visited the Leipzig Book Fair to study the mystery of book design and “the most beautiful”. Through practice and study, I improved communication and learning, and analyzed and thought in depth so as to reduce the misunderstanding of “the most beautiful” in the book design field. Misunderstanding: In the moment, “beauty ” is open to books, “the most beautiful ” is just a concept, no beauty can replace another beauty; when “the most beautiful ” is no longer a designer The ultimate goal of chase, the territory of book design is no longer limited by “beauty ”, will be obtained by the dialogue with the world is another way.
