大功率直流电系统均有造成杂散电流破坏的可能,如有轨电车、电气火车、地铁、直流输电系统、矿山井下直流系统、直流机械、大型焊机等,有可能造成附近结构物、管道、电缆等的损坏。更值得注意的是化工电解过程及干、湿法冶炼工厂,由于较为普遍地存在着漏电现象,使厂房结构受到杂散电流的破坏,影响耐久性,甚至危及安全、造成灾难性事故,此外,还造成能源损失及停产、维护等经济方面的损失。图1、2是某电解厂房钢筋混凝土承重结构遭受杂散电流破坏情况。该厂房在投产六年之后就不得不进行大修及加固。
