For a long time, this issue has always been concerned about the concepts and terminology (for example, the Chinese version of 1988 Volume 5 No. 1, No. 4 Fred W Riggs two papers, and 1990 Volume 7 4th issue of Jacques Gersley). UNESCO has long planned to study this issue. Beginning in the 1960s, he began to write social science dictionaries in various languages, the first in English (J Gould and WL Kolb: The Social Services Dictionary, Tavistock Press, London 1964), followed by Spanish (S del Campo et al., Eds. UNESCO Dictionary of Social Sciences, Barcelona, Planeta-Ago, Stignard, 1987, reprint, 1975 First edition), and the other in Portuguese (B Silva et al., Eds. Social Science Dictionary, Fnedado, Vittorio Vazquez, Rio de Janeiro, 1986). The French text has been edited, as several scholars involved in the work have different opinions on the contents of the dictionary and have not yet published them. An Arabic version is currently being prepared in Cairo. In the late 1970s, UNESCO also planned to compile a Comprehensive Dictionary of Social Sciences. One of the reasons why the plan was abandoned later is that there are still a number of concepts and semantic issues in the social sciences that have yet to be resolved. There is a doubt as to whether such a tool can be applied. Since the early 1970s, while organizing such terminology and glossary studies, UNESCO has started to study the concept itself. The related research project is called “INTERCONCEPT”. This, in turn, led to the more ambitious “International Cocha” proposed in 1980, as noted in the article by Fred W. Riggs mentioned earlier. Eric de Gloria has long been involved in the research of UNESCO terms and concepts. His article, published below, discusses some of the issues raised by the International Cochrane Inversive Semantic Vocabulary in terms of substance and methodology. Akka
