临潭磨沟遗址坐落在洮河西南岸、磨沟河西岸的马蹄形山间台地上,行政隶属甘南藏族自治州临潭县王旗乡。这里地处青藏高原东北边缘,海拔高度一般在2200米以上。遗址为省级重点文物保护单位,文化内涵丰富,其中齐家文化墓地就是磨沟遗址的重要内容之一。2008年,基于九甸峡水库建设的需要,甘肃省文物考古研究所与西北大学文化遗产学院合作,对磨沟遗址齐家文化墓地展开考古发掘。首次发掘结果便引起了学术界的高度关注~①,被评为2008年度全国十大考古新发现之一。目前,发掘工作仍在继续进行。截至2011年8月,共清理出以齐家文化时期为主的墓葬1530余
Lin Tan Grottoes ruins located in the southwest bank of the river, Mogou River west of the horseshoe-shaped mountain platform, the administrative unit of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture Wang Lin Wang Township. Here is located in the northeast edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the altitude is generally above 2,200 meters. Ruins for the provincial key cultural relics protection units, rich cultural connotation, of which the Qijia cemetery is one of the important content of the Mogou site. In 2008, based on the needs of the construction of the reservoir of Jiudianxia Reservoir, Gansu Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archeology cooperated with the College of Cultural Heritage of Northwestern University to carry out archaeological excavations on the Qigjia cemetery at Mogou Site. The first excavation results aroused great concern in academia ~ ①, was named the 2008 National Top Ten archaeological discoveries. At present, excavation work is still going on. As of August 2011, a total of more than 1530 tombs were collected from the Qijia period
